Macallan Estate Limited Releases Easter Elchies Edition

Macallan Estate Limited Releases

The new Macallan Estate Limited Edition is a no-age-statement whisky matured in Sherry-seasoned barrels. The whisky is 43% abv and said to have aromas and flavours of orange oil and wood spice. It has also been distilled just once a year, so the whisky is very rare. It is a special release for whisky lovers, as it was the most highly-coveted release to date. In addition, the whisky is packaged in a beautiful landscape-inspired gift box featuring photography of the estate’s barley fields.

The Macallan Estate uses barley grown on its own property. The distillery’s first year at its new Speyside distillery has inspired the creation of a new NAS. The distillery distilled this whisky using barley grown on its estate near the River Spey. The whisky was initially sold in exclusive packaging for two hundred and fifteen euros, and has since been available in many retail outlets. The Easter Elchies edition is soft and delicious, but it will soon cost $250 a bottle.

The Macallan Estate is located on the banks of the River Spey, a legendary river in Scotland that is home to the mighty Atlantic salmon. It is truly an experience that must be experienced. The Macallan Whisky Maker, Steven Bremner, chose five different cask styles for this edition. These five different styles are then blended together in this unique blend to produce a new whisky. For the limited edition, The Macallan is partnered with the Atlantic Salmon Trust, which has fifty years of experience in salmon conservation.

Macallan Estate Limited Releases Easter Elchies Edition

Since 2004, The Macallan has started to offer single malt expressions. It also markets special scotches in airport duty-free shops. In 2004 the Macallan introduced its Fine Oak range, which mellowed the whisky in bourbon oak casks. This new range was renamed Triple Cask Matured in 2018. The Macallan Estate Limited has a number of expressions in its core Sherry Oak series. The twelve-year-old is the most common and widely available expression. It also releases a 10-year-old cask strength version that is 58% ABV.

This limited edition Macallan is produced only once a year and is made from 100% estate-grown barley. The whisky is distilled just once a year, for seven days. The barley fields on the 485-acre estate were reserved for the highest-end releases. They are also used to make their renowned single malt, the Macallan Estate. Its aging process takes an estimated one year to mature in oak casks.

The Scottish whisky brand Macallan is changing its policy on the age statement. Since 2009, the brand has launched malts with no age statement. The products have received significant sales growth, and outperformed their age-stated cousins. It seems that the change is a good thing for the brand. But what will happen to the consumer when they can’t find a particular style they like? Will Macallan’s new policy lead to a change of hearts?
