MLB Players: Overpaying or Underpaying?

I have asked and a common complaint is that MLB players are not doing their best because they may have lost the will to achieve more; Some MLB fans blame this lack of motivation on the fact that they feel players are overpaid. A fan actually told me, and I quote “to earn $ 10-20-30 million in the next 6-8 years, it would be natural for me to relax because I already get paid for good or bad performances in the future.” This worries me, since Major League Baseball was actually one of the most respected sports, are MLB teams really messing things up with player salaries? Are fans really bored of seeing million dollar baseball players “goofing off” in a game they love?

Some of the most overpaid players at the moment earn more than $ 14 million dollars, as is the case of Carlos Delgado of the New York Mets, at this moment Carlos’s contract is worth $ 14.5 million dollars. However, if we take these types of numbers for reference, there are also some valued MLB players who are underpaid, with contracts that were worth only $ 500,000. This doesn’t make any sense if you ask me. At this point in baseball, Major League Baseball rankings are normal, yet fans seem concerned about the kind of plays they are actually seeing. We all know for sure that most overpaid baseball players don’t offer much game. Obviously some regulation is needed, unfortunately no one seems to be ready and getting their hands dirty in a cleanup.
