There are two 18-hole championship courses, Stonemont and Lakemont. The Stonemont Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. It is a classic and challenging course that has always been rated four stars by Golf Digest. The course is rolling smoothly with Bermuda fairways and Bentgrass greens. The field plays 70/71 at 6,863 yards. Lakemont’s 6,444-yard, par 71 course is a little less demanding. Golfers will enjoy beautiful views of scenic Stone Mountain Lake and the Confederate Memorial carvings on the mountain. Water comes into play in many of the holes. Other facilities at the Stone Mountain Golf Club include a clubhouse with a full service restaurant and a fully stocked pro shop. In season, green fees (March-November) cost $ 45 on weekdays and $ 59 on weekends. Off-season rates (December, January, and February) are $ 39 on weekdays and $ 49 on weekends. The afternoon rates are lower. Stone Mountain Park charges a $ 10 parking fee.

The club has 27 holes of golf and a lighted driving range. The course of the course is undulating, with many holes that border a large lake. The greens are Bentgrass. Other amenities include a clubhouse, snack bar, and pro shop. Green fees are $ 55 Monday through Thursday March through November. Rates are $ 65 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Rates from December to February are $ 45 Monday through Thursday and $ 55 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Nine ranges of holes are available.

Each course has Bentgrass greens and full-service practice facilities with a driving range, putting green, and practice bunker. Other amenities include full service clubhouse with snack bar, pro shop, lockers, and showers. Both routes allow walking. Mystery Valley Golf Club is located at 6094 Shadowrock Drive in Lithonia, Georgia. This popular course near Stone Mountain has hosted some pretty big state tournaments. The 18 hole par 72 course is rolling smoothly and plays 6,700 yards. Green fees are $ 38 on weekdays and $ 45 on weekends and holidays. The carts are $ 13. Discounts are available for youth and seniors. Sugar Creek Golf Club is located at 2706 Bouldercrest Road. The 18-hole par 71 course plays 6,318 yards. Green fees are $ 23 on weekdays and $ 29 on weekends and holidays. Carts are $ 13. Sugar Creek also has an excellent tennis facility.
