Website design By BotEap.comI point out, “I found”, due to the fact that it is simply how I fell in love with doing the exercise. After he mentioned it, I let him know, I personally used to do something along the same lines quite often. I often called the exercise Pavel Press.

Website design By BotEap.comWe ended up mentioning shoulder training sessions and how various exercise movements are never observed during a training session, but how this particular old-school movement was once considered the ideal exercise.

Website design By BotEap.comSure, you’ll likely see a number of guys occasionally performing the dumbbell shoulder press, although it’s relatively uncommon for you to see it performed with one hand, and you rarely do it with this classic, old-school technique.

Website design By BotEap.comThe same is true of the standing and sitting verses. I don’t remember the last time I ran into another person doing a standing military press. This is something that I include in my shoulder routine all the time.

Website design By BotEap.comIf I can help it, I don’t sit down to exercise. The same also applies to my private training clients. Standing exercises are always my first choice. If the exercise can be done standing up and the person has the strength and health to do it, do not sit down, stand up.

The military press exercise is the best move there is to build broad shoulders. There are some variations so technical that they make it a different exercise and can no longer be called a military press.

2.Squeeze your thighs and glutes

3.Now press that bar to the ceiling

Website design By BotEap.comThis is a difficult exercise, but you work on it and your numbers will go up. You will also develop strong and muscular shoulders. I’m not saying quit the military press, but this may be a nice change of pace.

Next time you’re at the gym, grab an empty barbell and try this move. You will be happy with the results.
