The port is a hub of activity, especially at night, and when you get tired of lounging on the sandy beach, there are a few sites to visit, including Damlatas Caves, Alanya Castle, and the Red Tower. Alanya is further supported by the pine-clad Taurus Mountains and a half hour drive out of town allows tourists to enjoy stunning views as well as the charm of small rural towns where life is spread out as much as usual. Website design By BotEap.comNightlife: Much of Alanya’s nightlife is in the middle of the port, but you can discover some of the more frequented bars and associations in the local area hidden in the streets on the outskirts. Many of the associations close a little early, but a free shuttle transports serious parties to the Auditorium, a great place that stays lively until the wee hours of the morning and is far from the center of town. Other favorites include James Dean, Robin Hood and Bistro Bellman. Several more venues offer more traditional entertainment such as belly rides, fire displays, and traditional music.

Some favorites include Memos, which serves traditional Turkish dishes such as a delicious Ottoman stew, and Big Ben’s for more English-style breakfasts and Sunday roasts. Try a kebab or mezze plate, followed by an ice-cold Efes beer for an authentic Turkish experience.

Barring feed pieces, haggling is expected on everything and stamina is key; Typically, you can expect charges to be reduced by 30 to 50 percent. Anything can lead to antagonism and it’s best to bypass stores with a forceful salesperson. Alanya boasts some very good jewelery as well as leather goods and clothing stores, a localized market and the common tourist tat.

The compromised main thoroughfare runs through the resort and causes pollution, disturbance and congestion. An area of very old lava just below the waterline can be hard to discuss while swimming.

A very popular one is the Dim Valley and Dim Cave. Apart from sunbathing and a good bath, there is also a water reserve, golf, mountain biking, bungee jumping, rafting on the Alara river and a very good offer of diving.
