Just go online and search for the Gungrave weapon and you should have several screens full of data. Website design By BotEap.comThe name Cerberus belongs to the three-headed hound of Hades. Cerberus was a guard dog of the Underworld that was carnivorous and ferocious. His task was to prevent the living from entering “The Underworld”, the land of the dead. Even the gods feared Cerberus. It is a proper name of the weapons that Grave carries considering that Brandon Heat was resurrected after being dead fifteen years. One of the main features of this weapon is that it never runs out of ammo. I believe in Gungrave Overdose though, you can see him reload.

Website design By BotEap.comA Cerberus airsoft conversion kit was now developed in Japan that used a Tokyo Marui Glock 26 blowback gas pistol as the main airsoft component for the Cerberus pistol. It was a real airsoft pistol after the conversion was complete. It had only been available in Japan and was never released in the US. The kit sold for approximately $220. The company that created the kit no longer makes it, sorry. Now several people have made a real gun that fires bullets like the Vash Trigun, but as far as I could find no one has made a real Cerberus gun.
Website design By BotEap.comThere are some companies that make theatrical props and they have come up with very, very good models of the weapon. They don’t appear to be cheap though, costing around $250 each. And they only make them to order.
Website design By BotEap.comI know a newcomer to the market who is working on a completely new model kit that will have the main parts in metal and some plastic castings. I have been told that if all goes according to plan, the slide and hammer will work. There are no details on how this will be achieved. It will be ready to paint and maybe in the price range of $50 – $70 dollars per kit, however the price may change due to material costs. Time will tell. The possible offer date will be early 2012.
Website design By BotEap.comThere is also a paper model available online that features a movable top slider and hammer. Now I know some might think a role model is ridiculous. In case you are not familiar with paper craft models, they can be sturdy when complete. Also, they are created from cardstock and not printed paper. You will need a steady hand and some patience at times to build, however once your Cerberus weapon is complete they are really nice to display. They can be handled, but not surprisingly, they are not meant to be played with as toys.
