The intestinal contents that had spilled into her womb had caused peritonitis. Further surgery to seal any further leakage from her intestine was not an option due to how sick and weak Abby had become.

I then recommended that Abby receive flower essences, such as Rescue Remedy, to help her body deal with the shock and trauma she had experienced.
