Husky tile saw

Website design By BotEap.comThe Husky 7-Inch Wet Tile Saw, model number THD750L, will probably run you about $120 at most retailers. I bought mine at Home Depot and am happy to say that overall I was very pleased with the purchase, but there are a few things I would take points off of.

Website design By BotEap.comFirst, the good news is that the Husky tile saw probably cut just as well as the more expensive models on the 3/8-inch tile I was cutting for my living room project. The cuts were smooth and required little effort to make. I also appreciated that the water tank was large enough that I didn’t have to refill it until after many outages. Also, there was no obstruction in the saw.

Website design By BotEap.comThe main drawback of the Husky wet saw was its laser guide. Basically the whole mounted laser guide was a feature to lure you in and perhaps give the Husky an edge over other brands. The guide stopped working after a few outages due to a short circuit. When it was working, the line wasn’t precise enough to trust. To cut a laser line, you need a very fine width and that was not the case with the Husky guide. If you are thinking of a laser guide for this model or another, I will tell you that it helps at night.
