I was surprised by the number and variety of educational games that I can add to my game list. In fact, the Internet is such a rich resource of brain teasers, quizzes, problem-solving games, and brain teasers that I am sure it will help my children understand study concepts and stimulate their mental abilities.
Website design By BotEap.comFor example, I added the Word Balloon computer game to my games as a way to build my grade-school son’s vocabulary and also to help him with spelling. It’s a fun and modern take on the classic game of hangman we used to play on paper. For this game, a set of boxes appears that represent the letters of the word in question. The player tries to guess the word by clicking on the letters of the alphabet buttons on the screen. If the letter is correct, it appears in its correct position in the boxes. If it’s wrong, one of the balloons will pop. The player must try to form the word before all 11 balloons pop to win!

Website design By BotEap.comMeanwhile, the All My Flowers computer game is a favorite title that keeps my preschool-age daughter busy during her few minutes of computer time. A very colorful and exciting game, the player is shown a pair of flower images next to each other. You have to find the difference between the two images by clicking on the image on the right. The player must be sharp and quick enough to spot the difference before time runs out. My little girl loves the game not only because of the exciting experience but also because of the images of flowers that she identifies by her name.
