It’s a well thought out ride, with speed, twists and turns, as well as an incredible light show depicting the night sky with stars and planets all around you. As you are propelled through space, don’t forget to raise your arms in the air and scream as loud as you can while having your photo taken for your memory at Disneyland Paris.
Website design By BotEap.comThe Toy Story Playland area was initially opened at the Walt Disney Studios park in August 2010, and 3 new attractions were added at the second themed recreation area at Disneyland Paris Resort.
Website design By BotEap.comThe new attractions in Toy Story Playland are RC Racer and Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop. Each one was designed and themed around the characters from the Toy Story movie. There are currently no places to eat within the new land, however there is a small shop that carries Toy Story merchandise.
Website design By BotEap.comOne of the more extreme points of interest in Toy Story Playland is the RC Racer, influenced by the speedy drone car that plays a significant role in the later Toy Story movies. The actual ride is actually a half tube roller coaster, produced by ‘Intamin’ plus designed to look like the actual Hot Wheels track that RC rides from the Toy Story movies. A nice touch is the road design inside the tail line, it has the shape and design of a long race track.
Website design By BotEap.comAlthough it looks like a roller coaster, RC Racer looks a lot like the old fairground ride, a “spinning boat” that can be found at fairgrounds and theme parks around the world. However, unlike the previous version of this RC Racer ride, it is fast and exhilarating. Passengers are secured by over-the-shoulder harnesses and also by a seat belt.
Website design By BotEap.comStanding tall and proud, the Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop is eighty feet tall and is an imposing site within Toy Story Playland. The ride overlooks the Walt Disney Studios skyline, along with the impressive Twilight Tower of Terror and can even be seen from Frontierland.

For me, one of the best attractions in Disneyland Paris.
