It is the story of a young man named Noah, who in the opening of the film sees the love of his life, Allie Hamilton. The moment he sees Allie, she knows that she is who he WANTED and he is steadfast and true to this knowledge throughout the entire movie. He appears on screen as a relaxed and simple young man, living from day to day, in the state of ‘Source Power’.

Even after Allie is forced to leave the town where they met because her parents don’t want her to marry such a low-class man, Noah still loves her. He writes her 365 letters over a year period trying to maintain her connection to her, and then discovers that Allie’s mother takes all of her letters from her and Allie doesn’t see any of them.

He follows her and watches her meet her new fiancé. He breaks down emotionally, returns home, and begins to renovate the old house his father bought him with a rage like never before. It’s like he’s obsessed with the idea of ​​creating this thing Allie wanted, believing that she would come back to him.

It is the same house in which they made love for the first time in previous years. And they talk and reminisce about the old days and how they really loved each other back then… Noah invites Allie out for a boat ride the next day and while they are rowing it starts to rain. They end up laughing and the old love between them comes back burning in their hearts.

Allie then confronts her mother about the missing letters and her mother gives them all to her. And in a dramatic moment Noah’s key question comes to Allie, he tells her angrily “Stop thinking about what others want” Noah yells “what do you want? What do you want?”
