Jesus has given us a weapon to fight against irritating spirits and it is called the cloak of praise. We must use this weapon to defeat the spirits that are trying to disturb our mind. However, many people do not want to call them irritating spirits, they would prefer, for example, to call them depression, anxiety or fear, but these are irritating spirits that go by the name of depression, anxiety or fear. So we need to get to the ceiling of the problem in order to be released and praising the Lord is our response.

Of course she wouldn’t have done that but because of her fear, that was the first thing that came out of her mouth. I had another encounter some years ago also with another lady. She told me about a problem that her husband had and I told her that it was an unclean spirit; that didn’t go very well for her, she was in denial and took offense. I have had personal experience with irritating spirits; They were in my house, my bedroom to be exact, and when I would go to bed, they would call my name and laugh. I was new to the Lord and didn’t know much about praising the Lord for the spirit of sorrow but I knew Jesus and I called on his name and they left. I have never had that problem again.
