Land Rover gives the 2010 Range Rover a 5.0-liter eight-cylinder engine

Website design By BotEap.comThe 2010 Land Rover vehicle has two new engines. The first engine, which comes standard on the HSE trim level, is a 5.0-liter eight-cylinder engine. This V8 engine gets up to 375 horsepower and 375 pound-feet of torque. The next trim level, which is the 2010 Supercharged vehicle, is a supercharged 5.0-liter eight-cylinder engine. This supercharged V8 gets an impressive 510 horsepower and 461 pound-feet of torque. Both engine options come standard with a six-speed automatic transmission that has a manual shift mode.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency, the vehicle gets 12 miles per gallon in the city and 18 miles per gallon on the highway. The HSE and Supercharged versions have the same fuel efficiency. While fuel efficiency is poor, it’s standard compared to other large performance SUVs.

Website design By BotEap.comThe engines in this vehicle are the same as the 2009 model. Prior to the 2009 model, the vehicle came with a small engine, which was a 4.2 liter V8 engine. The 4.2-liter engine produced around 400 horsepower. Prior to 2009 there was also a 4.4 liter engine option which was slightly more powerful than the 4.2 liter engine.
