Website design By BotEap.comAfter graduating from college, I pursued my dream of becoming a teacher and decided to take a state licensing exam. For about three months I reviewed at a review center so that I could pass easily. During the night before my exams, it was my best friend’s birthday and I should go as she insists so much, but then my mother told me to come home early as I need to rest well before taking my exams. Before I left I promised myself to come home early but as the night wore on the fun couldn’t stop and I myself decided to go home late. So I went home at 3 am drunk and tired, the next day I woke up at 6 feeling bad and I prepared for the exams. When doing the test I felt sleepy and I did not concentrate well. When the results were announced, I learned two things that have made a big difference in my life. First, I learned that I failed my exams and second, I realized how important it is to be obedient.

Therefore, it is our responsibility to follow the different rules that surround us. But the question is do we follow the rules? Are we obedient enough to fulfill our responsibility? Do we find it improper to follow the rules? Are we willing to play by the rules for the sake of peace and order?

Sometimes we want to do things the way we have planned. But again, let’s face reality, life is not how we want it, but we can still make the most of it. There are times when we just have to follow the rules and regulations for our own good and benefit.

Through obedience we learn the different values that accompany it, such as respect, discipline and decorum. Obedience teaches us to always be correct with our actions and words. In addition, it leads us to the correct and proper way of living. With obedience, we can have peace of mind, satisfaction, or contentment.

Website design By BotEap.comAnother is when we follow God’s teachings like the different Christian values and the Ten Commandments. Simply by following the rules in our own homes, we already practice the value of obedience. Through obedience we grow as people and become more mature.
Website design By BotEap.comAs the line says, “Obedience is the mother of success and is joined with security”, we are told that with it we are safe and it can definitely guide us towards prosperity or success. Also, it is very easy to be obedient, we just need to have the will to do it. It also helps to promote a peaceful and harmonious society, in which there is respect and unity among us. God calls us to be obedient to his will so that we attain eternal life. Obedience not only guides us to be better people but through it we can earn respect.
