Smooth is the only manufacturer I know of that offers a lifetime frame and motor warranty as well as a 5 year parts warranty on a machine that sells for less than $1200. The warranty keeps you covered in the event of wear and tear issues, but ultimately it is the machine that should make up for most of its value.

Starting with a strong motor and impressive design, the 6.17 continues to offer a rock-solid frame, ease of use that opens this machine up to all abilities, and a unique type of shock absorption that helps make workouts more effective. .

This means that at my 6’0″, it’s comfortable to run on this machine and I don’t have the constant feeling that I’m about to fall off my back.

Smooth did not deviate from the formula that has earned them many braces over the years. An absolute joy to look forward to, a fast start and running a good half hour. The 2.5 horsepower is quiet and won’t distract from a great workout.
Website design By BotEap.comThe length of the tread is not ideal, but again Smooth has many other models that offer a 60″ length if needed. The only thing I would have liked is the availability for a bit more speed, although it would be it will probably get uncomfortable with only 56″ of belt.
